Re-parenting Yourself, an alternative to more-strenuous rebirthing processes

The Re-parenting Yourself process is offered by Marlene and Bob Neufeld, on an individual basis, with couples or as part of a weekend retreat. it is gentler than many other rebirthing methods. Its purpose is:
  • to clear up anything from your conception, prenatal, birth or bonding periods which may be holding back your full happiness, creative expression and experience of healthy relationships,
  • to separate your feelings from any feelings or belief systems that you may have taken on from your mother or those around her,
  • and, to give you a body sense of being loved, wanted and supported.

This process is especially useful to easefully resolve relationship issues. When there is frequent polarization of feeling in a couple; for example, a planner and an improviser, a spender and a saver, sharp differences in energy; then there may be conception issues. When there is a repetitive drama/adrenaline/despair cycle in a relationship; there may be prenatal issues. When there are pacing and rhythmic conflicts, for example complaints about one partner holding the other back; then there may be birth issues. The grip of these patterns can be loosened by the Re-Parenting Yourself process.

The Re-Parenting Yourself process includes a dry-land session and a hot tub session for each person. The process is based on Bob and Marlene's intensive training in Radiance Prenatal work which was originated by Drs. Gay & Kathlyn Hendricks. We are currently looking for a non-chlorine hot tub in which to offer hot tub sessions. Bathing suits are optional based on the request of the participant.

To prepare for the Re-Parenting Yourself process it is helpful to reflect on what you know about your conception, prenatal time, and birth. It is beneficial if you can ask your mother or other relatives about that period. However, if information is not available, don't worry; your body knows.

Re-Parenting Yourself sessions and weekend retreats can be arranged based on availability of hot tub. The Re-parenting Yourself Weekend is based on the Radiance Prenatal process, Bob & Marlene's two year apprenticeship with the Hendricks Institute and their background in Early Childhood Education.

Bob and Marlene, I found the re-parenting workshop with you amazing. I have always wanted to do the tub work and finally had the chance to do so in a non-toxic tub and with you two incredibly loving people. My body seems to like having both the male and female energy present. I found both of your early childhood educator experiences to be so valuable in creating a rich experience for me. I liked how you created a container of love and intimacy to resolve what's next; long-standing issues. I highly recommend the experience!!!

-Kim Kirchhoff, Body-Mind Vibrance Coach

"T felt relaxed and safe during all of the process and especially in the tub. After the tub I felt a sensation that was like I was made up of tiny round things, like I could feel my cells with space in between. The morning after my session with Bob and Marlene I awoke feeling safe, clear and alert after years of waking up feeling fear. Thank you so much." Michael Deloughery

"I expand gently into the innocence and beauty of the human Being." Celeste Vermette, after participating in her partner Michael's re-parenting yourself session.

About Multiple tub sessions:

"Each session seems to shed a layer of the trauma or pattern much like the peeling away of an onion". Kim Kirchhoff

"With each subsequent tub session I was able to relax more and open up into myself. Having the previous experiences created for me a "knowingness" of trust and acceptance that was integral to facilitating a successful tub session." Phyllis Danu
